Voiceless

Some of us will never see eye to eye. I might as well stop shouting; it’s just pointless trying to show the blind something that is in front of them. I sometimes wonder where our common sense goes. Do we actually believe our lives are too important to care about our neighbors? Do we get so caught up with the way were built, we can’t stop and reflect on the reality? Do we feel some voices were meant to be hidden? Can we stop and think about the wrong that’s happening in front of our eyes? Maybe I should stop talking, because it doesn’t matter how I put it. Some people will scan through it and leave the important information behind. I guess it will never matter to them until the table is reversed, again that something that’s not promised. I guess it’s time for me to put my hand over my mouth, let the universe take its course. I guess I already knew something was out of my control. I would be a damn fool to do nothing, because I refuse to be voiceless.

Perception

Perception is nothing more than what we had been taught. We might have our PhD; still that doesn’t separate our minds from being prejudice. We have read the headlines; some of them are true others are fabricated. Yet we don’t seem to understand every character had an untold journey that determined their presents. Not everyone in this cruel world of ours has been born with a silver spoon in their mouth. The world wants us to act like we all have the same background, only some of us decide to stray away from the best life has to offer. They can’t wrap this around their minds; between these white and black lines, there is a grey line. I smile when I hear people say they understand, they think they would enhance themselves if they were in the same position. No one can ever understand someone else’s anguish, until they walk a mile in that person’s shoes. I guess they will never know, life sometimes doesn’t give you a choice. You have to make the best of the situation. Yet people think that is something the failed tells themselves; because they don’t want to look bad.

Forever… it’s just for now

Forever is on the mind of the youth! They don’t believe everything that’s in front of them might fade before they realize it was there. They take everything for granted; friendship, families, relationship etc. They except life to be a novel. They walk with their head high not bothering to look down and fully enjoy the memories that are being created. One thing they don’t know; life sometimes can be nothing more then a short-story. When it ends, there is no turning back. Live, Love, & Laugh; the clock is always ticking.

Revelation

In the beginning of time this world was built on war. I will not expect anything less than a massacre as the dust settles. We all would like to think we have free will; nevertheless there are other people out there wanting to control our destiny. They want to play the editor in our lives; decide the path they believe that is right. They claim they want to shelter us from the wicked things the world offers. The moment you stray away; trying to make sense of things because they are not adding up. They become angry, nasty, and violent. We see them crying because they think they can predict the outcome. They get so caught up with the promise that was made, so they think. They become nothing but voices, and full of hatred. They walk around telling us where we’re heading, if we don’t change our ways. The question I have for you; why do you hate my decision? Since you say I’m the one that is going to pay the price! Do you love me that much or you want to keep me in line just because you feel you need to have a say so in my private affairs.
